The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, extended his heartfelt wishes to Emirati women on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, celebrated annually on August 28. The day is dedicated to acknowledging the contributions of female citizens to the nation's progress and development.

In a message posted on X, Sheikh Mohamed praised women's vital role in the UAE’s growth. He stated, "Throughout the UAE’s development journey, women have provided an inspiring model of taking responsibility and working sincerely for their families and communities."

Sheikh Mohamed further emphasized the shared efforts of women and men in achieving the country’s goals. "On Emirati Women’s Day, we express our pride in Emirati women who work with dedication, integrity and efficiency, hand in hand with men in all national work positions to achieve the UAE’s development ambitions and continuous progress."

He also highlighted the crucial role women have played in the nation's success.

"The UAE’s journey of development would not have been possible without the tireless dedication of determined and inspirational women. On Emirati Women's Day, we honour the women of the UAE for their role in shaping our nation's ongoing progress."
