UAE launches 180-day visit visa for entrepreneurs, investors

The UAE has launched a specialised business visit visa, allowing investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals and business financiers from around the world to explore business opportunities in the country.

According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), the new visa grants single or multiple entries, with validity options of 60, 90, or 120 days, provided the total stay does not exceed 180 days.

Applicants must meet four key conditions:

- The applicant must be a qualified professional in the field they wish to explore.

- The passport must have at least six months of validity.

- Health insurance coverage must be active within the UAE.

- Proof of onward travel or departure from the country is required.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, highlighted that the UAE has developed a comprehensive service ecosystem to attract global investors and entrepreneurs. He emphasized the country’s world-class infrastructure, legal frameworks and advanced logistical services, which support business growth and expansion.

This initiative is expected to enhance the UAE’s appeal as a global business hub, providing professionals and investors with the flexibility to evaluate market potential, establish strategic ventures and contribute to economic growth.
