UAE extends remote learning for two weeks after spring break
text_fieldsThe UAE will extend remote learning for an additional two weeks once students return from the current spring holiday, authorities announced on Tuesday.
The decision applies to schools and higher education institutions across the country and forms part of a broader set of measures introduced to safeguard students and ensure academic activities continue without disruption.
Earlier this month, officials rescheduled the spring break for pupils, university students and education staff. The holiday period was set from March 9 to March 22, with in-person classes and regular working hours initially due to restart on Monday, March 23.
Under the latest directive, lessons will resume on schedule, but will be delivered online for two weeks before returning to campus-based learning.
The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed the plan as part of coordinated efforts to prioritise safety while maintaining the academic calendar.
