UAE braces for unpredictable weather, rain and hail forecast until Wednesday

Dubai: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for unstable weather conditions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next week. Residents are advised to brace themselves for potential disruptions as low surface pressure is expected to impact the region.

On Sunday, rain is anticipated to commence, primarily affecting southern areas of the UAE. While the intensity may vary from light to moderate, there's a possibility of it strengthening intermittently. The NCM has cautioned residents to remain vigilant as the weather progresses.

By Monday and Tuesday, the low pressure is predicted to deepen, resulting in thicker cloud cover over various parts of the UAE. Expectations include continued rain and the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and hail. These conditions may pose risks to outdoor activities and transportation.

Moderate to fresh winds are forecasted, contributing to dusty conditions across the region. However, there's a projected decrease in wind speed by Wednesday, offering some relief.

The seas are forecasted to vary from moderate to rough, with occasional periods of very rough conditions, particularly due to cloud activity on Monday and Tuesday in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. Conditions are expected to improve and become moderate by Wednesday.

The NCM advises residents to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and minimize any potential risks associated with the inclement weather. This includes staying updated on weather forecasts, securing loose objects outdoors and avoiding unnecessary travel during adverse conditions.

As the UAE prepares for unstable weather conditions, residents must remain informed and prepared. By staying vigilant and following safety guidelines, individuals can mitigate the impact of the impending weather.
