Sharjah Indian Schools resounding success at APJ Abdul Kalam Innovation Award

Dubai: Sharjah Indian School's 'A.B.M. Solutions' won the first position in the competition for the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Innovation Award organized by 'Gulf Madhyamam EduCafé'. India International School's teams 'Z-Bin' and 'Robotree' secured second and third positions respectively. The event was a grand success.

The competition witnessed a wonderful transformation in the field of dreams for the future, as adjudicators, including Prof. Dr. Alavikunjan, and Jimmy James, expressed their views. Apart from showcasing simple ideas, students presented advanced and hi-tech concepts in various subjects like nanotechnology, sustainable development, environmental sanitation, modern agricultural methods, smart schools, and outer space science.

Teams from various schools in the UAE participated in the event on Thursday. Various Schools including A.B.M. Solutions, K.N. Squad (Sharjah Indian School Boys, Juwaiza), EQUI-SUSTANIA, Vivo Verde (Delhi Private School Ajman), Z-Bin, Robotree, Green Drainage (India International School Sharjah), Agriwise, and Energizing the Future (The Elite English School, Dubai), Cosmic Trailblazers (Gulf Asian English School, Sharjah) participated, displayed their innovative ideas in fields like nanotechnology, sustainable development, environmental sanitation, modern agriculture, smart schools, and cosmic travel blazers.

The judging panel went through a rigorous selection and the best teams were selected. The winners of the competition were honoured by organizers at the concluding session of Educafe.
