Sharjah announces new women-only beach
cancel

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has announced the development of a new beach exclusively for women in the Lulu’iya area of Khorfakkan. Spanning 500 meters, the beach will offer complete privacy, along with amenities such as a café, a medical clinic, and a prayer room.

In addition to this initiative, the Ruler of Sharjah has directed the construction of a pedestrian bridge to link the Al Bardi 6 and Al Batha areas in Khorfakkan city.

This bridge is expected to facilitate easier movement between the two areas. Further infrastructure enhancements include modifications to the internal roads in the Hayawa area, as revealed by Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the RTA Sharjah, during the Sharjah’s Direct Line radio program.
