Rain, thunder forecast in Abu Dhabi and Dubai this weekend

Motorists in the UAE have been advised to take extra care after rainfall was recorded in Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Friday, with further wet and windy conditions expected over the weekend.
Abu Dhabi Police and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority issued alerts urging drivers to exercise caution during periods of unstable weather.
The National Centre of Meteorology said light rain and cloudy conditions were expected across parts of the country on Friday.
Forecasts indicate heavier rainfall in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates on Saturday and Sunday, according to the NCM’s weather map.
The weather authority also said winds could reach up to 40kph in some areas from Saturday to Monday, which may lead to dusty conditions and reduced visibility on roads.
