On Saturday afternoon, light rain was reported in Owtaid in the Al Dhafra region, marking the beginning of a period of unstable weather across the UAE. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow weather alerts for cloud activity affecting parts of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai experienced cloudy skies throughout the day. Forecasters say these conditions, along with scattered rainfall, are likely to persist into Sunday in some areas.

The NCM forecasts an increase in cloud cover tomorrow, Sunday, particularly during the afternoon. This is to be accompanied by a slight drop in temperatures across coastal and northern regions.

Humidity levels are expected to rise tonight and during early Sunday morning, increasing the likelihood of mist formation in inland areas.

Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the northeasterly to northwesterly directions, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h and gusts reaching up to 45 km/h.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution due to the possibility of reduced visibility caused by dust. Individuals with respiratory conditions or allergies are also urged to take necessary precautions while outdoors.
