Fujairah introduces ‘1-day’ driving test initiative

A new initiative in Fujairah will allow some applicants to obtain their driver's licence in a single day.

This fast-tracked process is available to national service recruits.

The test includes completing the theoretical examination, eye test and road test within one day, according to the emirate's police on Wednesday.

Recruits must be high school graduates to qualify for the single-day test, authorities stated.

This follows similar programs announced last year in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Sharjah Police reported that 194 trainees, both male and female, benefited from their One-Day Test Initiative within two weeks of its launch.
