flydubai announces daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok from July 1, 2026, adding its second destination in Thailand alongside Krabi and widening its network in Southeast Asia.

The airline said the service will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. The route will run under a codeshare with Emirates, allowing passengers to connect through Dubai to a broader network of destinations. flydubai also serves Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia as part of its Southeast Asia operations.

Chief Executive Officer Ghaith Al Ghaith said the Bangkok launch expands the airline’s network in Thailand and gives passengers another entry point to the Thai capital. He said the move reflects flydubai’s focus on offering more travel options while supporting travel and trade links between the UAE and key markets as demand recovers.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said Bangkok remains popular with both leisure and business travelers. He said the daily flights will add flexibility during the peak summer period, with the airline expecting strong demand and looking to raise frequency as traffic builds on the route over the summer.

The new service is aimed at higher summer travel demand, with flight timings set to offer a convenient option for passengers traveling between Dubai and Bangkok. The expansion also adds to flydubai’s wider push to connect markets across its network.
