Dubai RTA  to launch 4 new metro link bus routes from Aug last

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced the launch of four new metro link bus routes, effective from August 30. This update will see Route 31 split into two new routes, F39 and F40, and Route F56 will be replaced by F58 and F59. All new routes will operate with a 30-minute frequency.

Details of New Routes:

- Route F39: Running from Etisalat Bus Station to Oud Al Muteena Roundabout Bus Stop 1 and back.

- Route F40: Operating from Etisalat Bus Station to Mirdif, Street 78, and returning.

- Route F58: Runs north from Al Khail Metro Station to Dubai Internet City and back.

- Route F59: Operating from Dubai Internet City Metro Station to Dubai Knowledge Village and returning.

In addition to these new routes, the RTA will implement several changes to existing routes to enhance service quality and coverage. Key updates include:

- Route 21: Renamed and divided into Route 21A (Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services Bus Stop 1 to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station) and Route 21B (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Quoz Clinical Pathology Services Bus Stop 1).

- Routes 61D and 66: Merged for streamlined service.

- Route 95: Merged with Route 95A, Route 95A starts from Veneto, Jebel Ali Waterfront and covers the Jebel Ali Industrial Area.

- Route 6: Shortened from Oud Metha Metro Station to Dubai Healthcare City.

- Route 99: Modified to include JAFZA One.

- Route F31: Adjusted to include new stops in The Greens.

- Route F45: Expanded with new stops in Al Furjan.

- Route F54: JAFZA One stop removed.

- Intercity Route E700: Starting from Etisalat Bus Station instead of Union Bus Station to Fujairah.

Further, the RTA will enhance 35 additional bus routes to ensure punctuality, including Routes 6, 20B, 26, 36A, 36B, 50, 66, 83, 88, 95A, 96, 99, 320 and more.

Passengers are advised to review these changes and plan their journeys accordingly to benefit from improved transit options and better service coverage.
