Dubai RTA says ads now permitted on school buses

Dubai: Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Friday a new initiative allowing advertisements on school buses.

This program aims to provide school transport operators with an additional revenue stream by utilizing advertising spaces inside and outside the buses.

The advertisements must comply with strict standards to ensure they promote appropriate products and offers, safeguarding the rights and protection of schoolchildren, according to the RTA. The initiative seeks to balance commercial opportunities with the safety and welfare of students using school transportation services.
