Dubai RTA introduces new intercity bus route to Abu Dhabi

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new intercity bus service connecting the emirate with Abu Dhabi. The route, operated in partnership with Capital Express, will run between Al Quoz Bus Station in Dubai and MBZ Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.

The fare is set at Dh25 per passenger, payable by nol card or cash.

This follows RTA’s recent expansion of intercity services. In May, the authority launched Route E308 between Dubai and Sharjah, priced at Dh12 per trip. That service links Stadium Bus Station in Dubai to Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah.

In August, RTA introduced five additional routes and adjusted several existing ones to meet rising commuter demand.

The RTA currently operates more than 250 intercity buses, all equipped with free Wi-Fi to allow passengers to work or stay connected while traveling.
