Dubai Police set two Guinness World Records at Dubai Marathon 2026
text_fieldsDubai Police have set two new Guinness World Records during the Dubai Marathon 2026, with certificates presented to Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
The recognition was handed over at the Dubai Police Officers’ Club in the presence of Brigadier Dr Jassim Mohammed Hassan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Training.
Coach Saeed Bilal set the first record by completing a 10-kilometre run in 48.6 minutes while wearing a taekwondo uniform.
The second record was achieved by a team consisting of Second Lieutenant Hassan Bilal, First Sergeant Arif Abdul Razzaq, First Corporal Nabil Al Shami and First Corporal Mohamed Sharif, who carried a 70-kilogram patient on a stretcher over 10 kilometres in 56.50 minutes.
Officials said the performance reflected physical endurance and coordinated field response during the marathon.
Lt Gen Al Marri commended the participants and said the results form part of Dubai Police’s constant focus on performance standards and participation in international sporting events, alongside efforts linked to community and sports initiatives.
