Dubai: Dubai Municipality is urging residents to take advantage of its free service for removing bulk home waste, aiming to improve cleanliness and quality of life across the emirate.

The initiative is crucial for residents dealing with excess or damaged household items, particularly in the aftermath of recent flooding incidents in the UAE. Many homes were inundated with water, leading to the disposal of damaged belongings.

To request bulk waste collection, residents can simply apply via Dubai Municipality's WhatsApp channel by sending a message to 800900. Within three days of application, residents will receive a phone call from the municipality to schedule an appointment for waste collection. Once the collection is complete, residents will receive an SMS notification.

Recent rains and flooding in the UAE have resulted in significant damage to homes and belongings. This initiative comes at a crucial time, providing residents with a convenient solution for disposing of bulk waste accumulated due to water damage.
