Dubai Cares hosts The Baby Expo for Gaza fundraiser campaign

Dubai: The Baby Expo, the first early parenting event in the Middle East, is set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 24 to 25, 2024. The event will blend fun, learning and philanthropy, featuring over 150 global brands and is expected to draw more than 10,000 visitors across its 10,500 square meter venue.

A key highlight of the expo is Dubai Cares' philanthropic activation dedicated to supporting the people of Gaza. The activation will include interactive games like "Spin the Wheel" and "Snakes and Ladders," where families can engage in activities that highlight the challenges children face globally in accessing education. These games aim to foster discussions on early childhood development and encourage donations.

Visitors can participate by making a donation of Dhs50 through various channels, including an online campaign titled "The Baby Expo for Gaza," cash or card payments at the event. Donors will receive tokens of appreciation such as lunch bags, backpacks and water bottles. Additionally, 10% of the expo's ticket sales will contribute to Dubai Cares' "Gaza In Our Hearts" campaign, supporting emergency needs like meals and shelter in Gaza.

The expo will also feature celebrity speakers, including Kris Fade, Joelle Mardinian and Russel & Lindsey Kane, along with workshops on newborn care, sleep training and nutrition. The event will provide a platform for networking through the Mumpreneur Collective Conference and a Business Breakfast, catering to entrepreneurial mothers and industry professionals.
