Dubai International (DXB) airport will restrict terminal access to passengers only during peak periods, advising travellers to say their farewells at home. The arrivals’ forecourts in Terminals 1 and 3 will be restricted to public transport and authorized airport vehicles.

With the upcoming Eid Al Adha break from June 15-18 and summer vacations, DXB expects over 3.7 million guests between June 12 and 25, averaging 264,000 daily. June 22 is anticipated to be the busiest day, with over 287,000 guests.

Flydubai passengers should arrive at least four hours before departure. Emirates passengers are encouraged to use home, early and self-check-in facilities. Other airline passengers should arrive no earlier than three hours before departure and use online check-in.

Passengers should familiarize themselves with airline baggage allowances, pack appropriately and prepare for security screening by placing metal items in hand luggage. Families with children over 12 can use Smart Gates to expedite passport control. Travellers should keep up with travel regulations and have all necessary documents ready.

Additional tips include organizing travel documents and weighing luggage at home, packing spare batteries in hand luggage, and using the Dubai Metro to avoid road congestion.
