Authorities in Fujairah said a person was killed after debris from an intercepted drone fell on a farm in the Al-Rifa’a area on Wednesday.
According to the Fujairah Government Media Office, UAE air defence systems intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the emirate before debris landed at the site.
Officials confirmed that the victim was a Bangladeshi national.
Emergency teams remain at the location to manage the situation and ensure safety in the surrounding area.
Authorities urged the public to rely on official sources for updates, warning against the spread of unverified information that could lead to public concern.
