'Gulf Madhyamam Common Kerala 2024' logo launched by Kerala Chief Minister Mr Pinarayi Vijayan

Dubai: The 6th edition of the Gulf Madhyamam ‘Come on Kerala’, the GCC's biggest Indian international trade and cultural expo in the Middle East, is officially announced. The event is set to unfold on June 7, 8 and 9 at the prestigious Sharjah Expo Centre.

At a grand ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Chief Minister Mr Pinarayi Vijayan unveiled the official logo, signalling the start of what promises to be an innovative and differently planned edition in the fair's sixth year. The sixth edition logo redefines 'Hopey', the official logo of ‘Come on Kerala’ as the new mascot, symbolizing hope and the bright future of this cultural festivity. Madhyamam chief editor O. Abdurrahman, CEO PM Saleh, Highlight Group CEO Ajeel Muhammad, Madhyamam Business Operations Global Head Muhammad Rafiq, Regional Manager Jayaprakash and Business Solutions Country Head K. Junais were also present at the logo release ceremony.

Over the years, ‘Come on Kerala’ has become a pivotal event, enhancing trade and cultural ties between India and the UAE. It has successfully hosted five editions under the esteemed patronage of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. Each edition received enthusiastic participation from the expatriate community.

This year’s event, announced to be a “sixth sense experience”, is anticipated to attract over 250,000 visitors, showcasing a blend of significant trade exhibitions, business summits and an array of entertainment options for families. A special highlight is the Indo-Arab Women Excellence Award, which honours the achievements of Indian-Arab women entrepreneurs.

The fair enjoys the continued support of the HiLITE Builders, ensuring a spectacular experience for all attendees. It also coincides with the 25th anniversary of Gulf Madhyamam, the largest Indian newspaper in the GCC, marking a milestone in its journey of journalistic excellence and cultural promotion.

As preparations gear up, ‘Come on Kerala’ is poised to offer an extraordinary experience, reflecting the vibrant essence of Kerala’s culture and robust commercial dynamics of the region. The event promises to be a landmark that bridges communities by celebrating shared heritage and economic aspirations.
