'Come on Kerala' 5th edition: Sheikh Sultan to be Chief patron
text_fieldsSharjah: The fifth edition of Gulf Madhyamam 'Come on Kerala', the largest Indian commercial, cultural, entertainment and academic festival in the Middle East will be held under the Patronage of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the sovereign ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and a member of the Federal Supreme Council of the UAE. The last four editions were also held under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan.
The fifth edition of Come on Kerala will be held on May 19, 20, 21 at Sharjah Expo Centre. The Expo is being organised in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
The patronage of the Sheikh Sultan, who has always held the expatriates close, is an honour for the Indian diaspora in UAE and a recognition to Gulf Madhyaman, the voice of Malayali expatriates. He has always supported business ties between India and the UAE. His historic trip to Kerala in 2017 only strengthened the bilateral relationship between the two nations in terms of trade and culture. Come on Kerala, which is regarded as a benchmark for India-UAE economic relations, has enjoyed enormous success in past editions due to Sheikh Sultan's patronage.
The expo, which has evolved into a festival over the years, is highly anticipated among the expatriate community in the UAE. This year also a commercial, cultural, and entertainment extravaganza has been organised by Gulf Madhyamam.
