Coldplay adds third concert in Abu Dhabi following high demand

Coldplay fans in the UAE have one more opportunity to see the Grammy-winning band live, as a third performance has been added to their highly anticipated Abu Dhabi schedule. Following a surge in demand for tickets to their first two shows, which are set for January 11 and January 12, 2025, the band will now also perform on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
The decision to add the third show comes after thousands of fans faced challenges securing tickets for the first two performances. When pre-sales for the January 11 show went live on Wednesday, fans flooded the ticketing platform, resulting in virtual queues with more than 200,000 people waiting at one point. Despite a second show being announced for January 12, many still struggled with technical glitches and high ticket prices, leaving several disappointed.
With this new date, fans who missed out on tickets for the initial shows may finally have a chance to see Coldplay live. The band is expected to deliver an electrifying setlist, featuring classic hits like Fix You, Viva La Vida and Yellow, alongside new tracks from their upcoming album Moon Music, which is set for release on October 4, 2024.
Tickets for the third performance on January 14 are likely to sell out just as quickly. Pre-sale tickets for the additional show will be available starting Thursday, September 26, at 12pm, with general sales beginning on Friday, September 27, at 12pm via Live Nation's website (livenation.me).
