Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has announced plans to launch a new direct flight route to Almaty, Kazakhstan, further expanding its international operations from Zayed International Airport. The new service is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025, and will operate three times a week.

According to the airline, flights will run every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday using the Airbus A320 aircraft. Flight 3L 781 will depart from Abu Dhabi at 9:20 AM local time and arrive in Almaty at 2:35 PM. The return flight, 3L 782, will leave Almaty at 3:35 PM and land in Abu Dhabi at 7:20 PM.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the new route reflects the airline’s continued commitment to expanding its global footprint while offering affordable travel options.

“We are glad to launch our new service to Almaty, further expanding our international reach from Zayed International Airport,” Al Ali said.

He also emphasized the airline’s role in supporting Abu Dhabi’s growth as a regional hub for tourism and business.

“As we aim to contribute to the city’s growth as a leading hub for tourism and business, we remain focused on meeting the growing demand for low-cost travel, offering our passengers even greater choice and convenience,” he added.

With the launch of this new route, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will serve a total of 30 destinations directly from Zayed International Airport, providing travelers with a growing range of regional and international options.
