The new season of the Sheikh Zayed Festival will open on November 1, 2025, at Al Wathba under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The festival will run until March 22, 2026.

Organisers announced that all preparations are complete for the five-month cultural event, which will feature expanded international participation, new attractions and heritage-themed activities.

Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, inspected the venue ahead of the launch, accompanied by senior officials including Humaid bin Saeed Al Neyadi and Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi.

The 2025–2026 edition will introduce new venues such as Al Wathba Winterland Amusement Park, Al Wathba Boulevard and a bowling and ice-skating facility. It will also feature the Union Parade, UAE National Day celebrations, weekly fireworks and performances by regional and international artists.

Organisers said more than 22 countries will participate through cultural and heritage pavilions.
