Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman engaged in discussions with Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani about regional developments and the escalating crisis in the Gaza Strip. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the phone call on Sunday focused on the importance of concerted efforts to prevent further deterioration of the situation.

During their conversation, they emphasized the need to "prevent the situation from worsening and ways to spare the region from the risks of escalation," SPA reported. The talks underline a mutual concern about the stability of the region amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
