Sharjah's Ruler has announced that all newly registered children in the emirate's nurseries will be provided with admission. To achieve this, new nurseries will be built and existing capacities will be expanded.

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, stated that 446 additional seats will be made available during July and August. Currently, registration in government nurseries has closed at 1,781 applicants, while only 1,335 seats are available.

"The additional 446 seats will be provided during the next two months by building new nurseries," Sheikh Dr. Sultan said. The announcement was made via the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television.

The Sharjah Ruler emphasized the dual importance of nurseries for safety and education.

"The child in Sharjah nurseries learns from the beginning of his enrollment a very sophisticated curriculum, which we did not create alone; rather, partners from Europe work with us," he said.

Reassuring parents, Sheikh Dr. Sultan added, “Do not be afraid, your child will get a seat.”
