Aden: Aiming at children under age five, pregnant women and nursing mothers in Yemen, the Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has started a nutrition project. The project is currently rolled out in the governates of Aden, Lahij, Taiz, Hodeidah, Hajjah and Marib in Yemen, Arab News reported citing Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The project has targeted 51,401 people in a week, providing nutritional therapy, healthcare and counselling services. This is among the KSrelief efforts, which aim to lift the sufferings of Yemen's people as many mothers and their children are suffering from malnutrition.

Saudi's Al-Jada Health Center outlets located in Hajjah governorate have given treatment to 5,002 people in one week, and the drive had the support of KSrelief.

Further, KSrelief informed that it had distributed 2,800 plus cartons of dates to the needy in the Hajjah governate. The effort has benefitted nearly 17,000 people, SPA reported.
