Saudi, Qatari foreign ministers lead coordination council session in Riyadh

Saudi and Qatari foreign ministers met in Riyadh on Thursday to lead the executive committee session of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, focusing on the next phase of cooperation between the two states.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani reviewed the status of bilateral ties and discussed how to expand joint work at regional and international levels. The talks covered a set of initiatives aimed at widening cooperation across the council’s committees.

According to information shared at the meeting, the executive committee secretariat outlined recent activities, committee outputs and the preparations underway for the council’s upcoming eighth meeting. Delegates from both countries noted steady coordination across working groups and pointed to areas where joint efforts have advanced in recent months.

The session concluded with both ministers signing the official minutes of the executive committee.
