Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi in Jeddah on Saturday to discuss key bilateral, regional and international issues, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

The Iranian official's visit marks a continued thaw in Saudi-Iran relations, following a series of diplomatic engagements aimed at restoring ties after years of tension. Araqchi's discussions with senior Saudi officials are part of a broader regional outreach ahead of major diplomatic events.

According to Iran's Foreign Ministry, Araqchi will next head to Qatar to take part in the Iran-Arab World Dialogue summit in Doha. His Gulf tour also precedes anticipated indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Oman, scheduled for Sunday.

The back-to-back engagements reflect increased diplomatic momentum in the region, with key stakeholders exploring avenues for dialogue and de-escalation.
