Saudi initiates 1,000 Qur’an memorization sessions for Hajj season
text_fieldsJeddah: Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, has greenlit the launch of 1,000 sessions dedicated to Hajj pilgrims memorizing the Qur’an, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
Aligned with the presidency’s Hajj season plans, this initiative aims to spread the morals and moderate message of the Qur’an globally. Qualified Saudi teachers, who have memorized the holy book, will lead these sessions, enriching the pilgrims' experience.
Al-Sudais emphasized that this initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to teaching, memorizing, interpreting and enhancing understanding of the Qur’an. These sessions at the Two Holy Mosques are tailored to provide educational content and methodological approaches to disseminate the Qur’an’s message and guidance.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs also aims to expand the educational scope within these Qur’anic sessions, incorporating recitations and holidays related to the Prophet Muhammad.
