Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has expressed his willingness to mediate in the Russia-Ukraine conflict to bring the ongoing war to an end.

MBS is said to have had a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin where he had stated the Saudi Kingdom's stand on the crisis. He offered whatever efforts was possible from the Kingdom's part to reach a political solution for the crisis and to ensure security and stability in the region.

The crown prince has also extended the Kingdom's support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. MBS is said to have offered him the Kingdom's contribution to de-escalating the crisis during a call with the President.

The war-created crisis in the crude oil market, he said, demands a particular attention to maintain the balance and stability in the market.

He said that, out of humanitarian considerations, they will extend the visas of Ukrainian visitors, tourists, and residents in the Kingdom, which are set to expire, for three months, adding the Saudi government is keen on their comfort and safety.
