Saudi Crown Prince hosts Egyptian president at iftar in Jeddah

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at an iftar banquet in Jeddah on Monday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

President el-Sisi arrived in the Kingdom earlier in the day on what was described as a fraternal visit. He was received by the Crown Prince at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

A statement from the Egyptian presidency said the visit showcases the two countries’ commitment to strengthening longstanding ties and maintaining coordination on regional and international issues of shared interest.
