Saudi Arabia to begin issuing Umrah visas on May 31

Saudi Arabia will begin issuing Umrah visas for the 1448 AH season on May 31, 2026, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Sunday.

The ministry released the Umrah season calendar outlining key dates related to visa issuance, contractual procedures and the arrival of pilgrims as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency.

According to the schedule, pilgrims will be allowed to enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk application starting June 1, 2026.

The ministry said the final date for issuing Umrah visas will be March 9, 2027, while pilgrims must enter the Kingdom no later than March 23, 2027.

April 7, 2027, has been set as the final departure date for Umrah pilgrims.

The ministry called on Umrah service companies and overseas agents to follow the approved timetable and comply with regulations and instructions issued for the season to ensure services are provided efficiently to pilgrims.
