Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has launched a naming rights and sponsorship project for stations on the Haramain High Speed Railway network.

The initiative covers stations in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah’s Sulaimaniyah district and King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).

SAR said the project is aimed at improving passenger experience through station development and expanded commercial services while creating new investment opportunities in partnership with the private sector.

The authority added that the initiative is intended to strengthen asset utilisation and provide brands with access to large passenger volumes across one of the Kingdom’s busiest transport networks.

The Haramain High Speed Railway operates at speeds of up to 300kph and is ranked among the world’s 10 fastest electric train systems.

Using a fleet of 35 trains, the railway links Makkah and Madinah through stations at Jeddah, King Abdulaziz International Airport and KAEC, serving millions of passengers, pilgrims and Umrah performers each year.

SAR said the sponsorship and naming rights program offers strategic marketing opportunities for companies while supporting broader integration with private sector partners.

Applications for the opportunities are available through SAR’s official channels.
