Saudi Arabia: Khair Al-Khalq Museum explores legacy of Prophet Muhammad
text_fieldsPrince Salman bin Sultan, governor of Madinah and chairman of the Madinah Development Authority, has opened the Khair Al-Khalq (Best of Creation) Museum at the As Safiyyah Museum and Park complex, located south of the Prophet’s Mosque.
The museum is designed as an educational destination that blends knowledge with modern technology. According to the Saudi Press Agency, it presents the life of Prophet Muhammad through interactive exhibits and digital displays.
During a tour, Prince Salman viewed installations and technologies that depict key moments from the Prophet’s life, alongside a series of audiovisual presentations.
At the opening ceremony, attendees watched a presentation introducing the museum before a speech by Fawaz Almehrij, CEO of Samaya Investment Co. He said the project offers visitors a contemporary way to explore history while learning about the values of prophethood.
Almehrij thanked Prince Salman for supporting cultural initiatives and efforts aimed at developing Madinah and improving quality of life. He also acknowledged Madinah Mayor and Madinah Development Authority CEO Fahad Albulihshi for overseeing the project and ensuring it serves as a cultural landmark for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
Earlier this year, Prince Salman also launched the “Ala Khutah” (“In His Footsteps”) project, which enables visitors to trace the route of the Prophet’s migration from Makkah to Madinah.
Prince Salman said the project brings together faith, knowledge and development, while presenting values such as justice, mercy, tolerance and coexistence.
