The Saudi Film Commission has officially announced its participation in the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), set to run from June 13 to 22 in China’s cultural capital. As the largest film festival in China and the only one accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF), SIFF offers a significant international stage for cinematic collaboration.

Through its presence at the festival, the Saudi Film Commission aims to strengthen cultural cooperation with China, promote Saudi Arabia’s visually rich filming locations and build lasting partnerships for co-production and film distribution.

The Kingdom’s dedicated pavilion at the festival will serve as a hub to present the Commission’s latest programs, showcase the dynamic capabilities of Saudi filmmakers, and engage with global industry leaders. The initiative reflects the Commission’s broader strategy to support local talent and position Saudi Arabia as a compelling destination for international cinema.
