Saudi Arabia issues Umrah guide in 16 languages for pilgrims
text_fieldsSaudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued an “Umrah and Ziyarah Guide” in 16 languages to provide pilgrims with instructions and regulatory information in their native tongues, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The guide outlines each stage of the journey, beginning with travel preparations and visa procedures and continuing through the performance of rituals, movement within the Two Holy Mosques and departure arrangements.
Arranged in chronological order, the publication allows users to locate stage-specific details quickly. It includes visuals and digital links to maps, instructional videos and support services.
Content covers key rites such as ihram, tawaf and sa’i, as well as etiquette inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. It also sets out organisational and behavioural guidelines aimed at maintaining orderly operations.
The ministry said the guide is part of efforts to improve service delivery and expand digital access for pilgrims. The publication is available online at haj.gov.sa/Guides
