More than 94,000 people played a critical role in organising the 2025 Hajj season, ensuring a smooth pilgrimage for 1.4 million Muslims who performed the annual rites in early June, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry highlighted the scale and coordination involved in managing the pilgrimage, with teams deployed across Makkah and Madinah in various operational and organisational roles.

The Ministry’s Compliance Centre carried out over 70,000 field inspections, covering pilgrim accommodations, tents, central kitchens and service facilities to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the Hajj.

As part of the Nusuk Care initiative, more than 845,000 direct services were provided to pilgrims. These included health care, psychological support, and language assistance. The initiative was supported by over 3,000 volunteers who operated across 107 contact points along six designated service tracks.

“These operational indicators reflect a high level of planning, precision, and technological integration,” the ministry stated, emphasising that the efforts align with the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the comprehensive approach underlines the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the pilgrim experience through strategic investment in human capital and advanced systems.
