Riyadh to host weddings for over 280 people
text_fieldsEnsan Charity for Orphan Care will host wedding ceremonies for 282 men and women in Riyadh on December 29 and 30, as part of its programs supporting beneficiaries in establishing families.
The ceremonies for grooms and brides will be held separately and will be overseen by Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz and his wife, Princess Noura bint Mohammed, on Monday and Tuesday next week.
Mohammed bin Saad Al-Muharib, Director-General of Ensan Charity, said the initiative forms part of the organisation’s efforts to help its beneficiaries build stable family lives. He said the charity provides counselling and guidance programmes focused on promoting understanding and shared responsibility within marriage.
As part of its support services, the charity is offering training courses this year covering household financial management and childrearing, aimed at preparing couples for married life.
Al-Muharib expressed appreciation for the continued support provided by the Riyadh governor to the charity’s programs. He also acknowledged the role of Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, vice chairman of the charity’s board and chairman of its executive committee, in backing the initiative.
He further thanked the Ehsan Platform, the Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Endowments Foundation and the Bunyan Social Services Society for their sponsorship and support of the wedding program.
