'Memories of Legends' imparts music to India-Saudi friendship
text_fieldsRiyadh: 'Memories of Legends' organised by the Indian Embassy and the Gulf Madhyamam took place in Riyadh and sweetened the India-Saudi friendship.
Tens of thousands of people came from different parts of Saudi Arabia to enjoy the musical night organised as part of the platinum jubilee celebration of the historic friendship between the two countries and India's independence.
Saudi residents including citizens arrived to enjoy the event on Friday, on the 92nd National Day of Saudi Arabia. The Head of the Social Welfare Department of the Indian Embassy MR. Sajeev inaugurated the programme that started at 7 pm. Gulf Madhyamam Chief Editor V.K. Hamza Abbas presided over the event.
Madhyamam Group CEO P.M. Salih, Lulu Group Saudi Director Shaheem Mohammad, Hotpak Group Vice President Suhail Abdullah, Saudi Post Representative Gala, Aster Sanad Hospitals CEO Dr. Adnan Alsahrani, Friendy Mobile Marketing Director Aziz Amin, Gulf Madhyamam and Media One Executive Committee Chairman K.M. Basheer, and Gulf Madhyamam Riyadh Patron Tajuddin were present on the occasion.
Then the music night began under the leadership of new-age celebrity singer Pawandeep Rajan. Famous singer Yumna Ajin was also part of the event. Songs that were originally brought to life by legendary Indian singers like Muhammad Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, and Kishore Kumar took over the stage. These evergreen songs have been in the hearts of art connoisseurs and generations of Indians. Dancers from Riyadh's Pole Star Group danced in celebration of the platinum jubilee of Indian independence and Indo-Saudi friendship.
