According to the Saudi Press Agency, the expansion introduces Route 15 along Prince Sultan Road and Route 16 connecting the Jeddah Corniche with Prince Faisal bin Fahd Road.
Buses on both routes will run daily from 4pm to 11pm, with services extended until 2am on Thursdays and Fridays.
Route 16 will serve 15 stops, operating every 45 minutes with up to 30 trips per day. Route 15 will run every 35 minutes, offering up to 35 daily trips.
Chief Executive Yousef Al-Sayegh said the additions form part of broader efforts to develop the public transport network in line with the city’s growth.
“At Jeddah Transport Co., we are working to continuously expand the bus network to provide reliable and accessible transport options that improve the travel experience and quality of life, in line with Saudi Vision 2030”, he said.
The company encouraged passengers to use the Jeddah Buses app to access routes, schedules and journey planning tools. Further route expansions and service enhancements are planned, Al-Sayegh added.
