Dubai: Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the inauguration of the Stadium Bus Station this Friday. Situated in the Al Qusais area adjacent to the Stadium Metro Station, this new transport hub promises to enhance commuting services in the city.

Designed to streamline travel times and facilitate effortless transfers between different modes of public transport, the Stadium Bus Station is set to become the go-to choice for commuters. Servicing routes 19, F22, F23A, F23, F24 and W20, and with route 23 passing through, it offers comprehensive coverage across key areas of the city.

The Public Transport Agency of the RTA is implementing significant enhancements to several express lines. Modifications aimed at optimizing speed and efficiency will be made to routes such as 62, X02, X23, X22, X13, X25, X92, X64 and X94.

Commuters can also look forward to improved inter-city bus services, with the E102 line undergoing modifications to include weekend stops at Musaffah Bus Station. This move is expected to significantly reduce travel times between Al Jaffiliya Station and Zayed International Airport Terminal A.

Further, the schedules of 30 routes will be fine-tuned to better accommodate passenger needs. Enhanced timings on routes including 19, 23, 27, 43, 62, C04, C10, C15, C18, D03, E102, E307, E400, F08, F17, F22, F23, F23A, F24, F51, W20, X02, X13, X22, X23, X25, X28, X64, X92 and X94 will come into effect from May 3.

On the same date, route 91A will be discontinued, but commuters can seamlessly transition to alternative Route 91, which operates from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Jebel Ali Port Zone.

In a statement, the RTA reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the public transport network and fostering integration with other modes of transport, including the metro, tram and marine services.
