The Varghese Moolans Group has announced the appointment of South Indian actor Asif Ali as the new brand ambassador for its FMCG brands, VIJAY and JAY. This announcement aligns with the merger of these two brands, which will now operate under the unified name JAY Spices and Foods.
Founded in 1985 by Dr. Varghese Moolan, the Varghese Moolans Group has evolved into a prominent conglomerate with interests in sectors such as food production, retail, film production, real estate, organic farming, logistics, e-commerce, textiles, hospitality, men's grooming, gold and diamonds. The merger of VIJAY Masalas & Food Products and JAY Spices aims to streamline operations and unify branding. VIJAY has established a strong presence in international retail, while JAY has focused on the B2B and HoReCa sectors. The combined brand will leverage VIJAY’s retail network and JAY’s expertise in catering to the HoReCa sector.
