LuLu on expansion spree in Oman, Opens new hypermarket in Al Mudhaibi

Muscat: Lulu Hypermarket, a leading retail chain in Oman, has further solidified its presence in the Sultanate with the opening of its newest outlet in Samad Al Shan, Al Mudhaibi. The grand inauguration took place on September 18th, under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Saud Bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Hinai, Wali of Al Mudhaibi. The event was attended by senior government officials, Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali M.A. and other notable dignitaries.
The newly opened Lulu store spans over 40,000 square feet and is the 31st store of the hypermarket chain in Oman. Shoppers in Al Mudhaibi will now have access to a diverse range of products, including groceries, fresh produce, electronics and household goods. With its spacious layout, modern design, multiple check-out counters and extensive parking space, the store promises a convenient and comfortable shopping experience.
At the opening ceremony, Yusuff Ali expressed gratitude to the Omani government and people for their continuous support, reaffirming Lulu’s commitment to contributing to the local economy.
“Our expansion into Al Mudhaibi reflects our commitment to fostering a strong partnership with the Omani community,” Ali said. He also highlighted Lulu’s focus on creating employment opportunities and supporting local businesses through its In-Country Value (ICV) initiatives.
“We believe this approach will benefit not just our customers but the overall development of Oman”, he added.
The new outlet in Al Mudhaibi is expected to become a popular destination for residents, offering competitive prices and a wide variety of products. Ananth A.V., Director Oman and Shabeer K.A., Regional Director, Oman of the Lulu Group, were also present at the inauguration, marking another milestone in the company's steady growth in the region.
