Kuwait: In a recent directive issued by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior has emphasized the strict prohibition of unauthorized gatherings or marches unless permitted by established laws and regulations.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior has urged all individuals to adhere strictly to legal requirements and regulations governing the organization of gatherings or marches. It has emphasized that conducting such events without obtaining proper authorization from relevant authorities is considered a violation of the law, subjecting individuals to legal consequences.

Further, the Ministry has explicitly prohibited the dissemination of advertisements on social media platforms promoting unauthorized gatherings or marches. It clarified that no permit is issued by the Ministry for such events advertised on social media. The Ministry has called upon all parties to respect and comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding the organization of gatherings or marches.

"It is prohibited to hold gatherings or marches except in accordance with established laws and regulations," stated the Ministry of Interior.

The administration has underlined the importance of obtaining the necessary licenses from relevant authorities before organizing any gatherings or marches. Failure to do so not only violates the law but also exposes individuals to legal accountability.

In compliance with the directives and instructions of His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior remains vigilant in enforcing regulations to ensure public safety and security. Citizens and residents are urged to cooperate fully with authorities and respect the laws in place.

The Ministry has reiterated its commitment to upholding law and order and ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within the country. It has warned that any violations of the directives regarding unauthorized gatherings or marches will be met with strict legal consequences.
