Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior said Special Forces intercepted nine drones over the past 24 hours after they were detected in the country’s airspace.

Spokesperson Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib said the operations were carried out with speed and accuracy, in support of air defence units.

He said explosive ordnance disposal teams handled 14 reports of falling debris linked to interception operations during the same period, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the attacks to 579.

Warning sirens were activated four times nationwide, raising the total number of activations to 146.

The ministry also confirmed the launch of an early warning system through smart devices to send direct alerts to citizens and residents during emergencies.

Bouslaib said authorities continue to monitor developments throughout the day and night and take measures to maintain security. He also noted public awareness and cooperation with safety instructions.
