Kuwaiti authorities said security and emergency agencies remain on full alert following recent Iranian attacks targeting the country, outlining coordinated military, civil defence and health measures.

The Ministry of Defence said air defence units engaged multiple hostile aerial targets at dawn on Monday within central operations sectors. The interceptions were completed without casualties, and armed forces remain on high readiness to respond to further developments.

Separately, the ministry reported that several US military aircraft crashed on Monday morning. All crew members survived and were evacuated to hospital, where they were described as being in stable condition. Kuwaiti officials said coordination is under way with US forces to establish the circumstances of the incident, with investigations continuing.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense said most drones approaching over the sea near Rumaithiya and Salwa were intercepted. No injuries were reported. Authorities clarified that explosion sounds heard in some areas were linked to interception operations and said the situation in the country remains stable.

The US Embassy in Kuwait issued a security alert advising people to avoid the embassy, citing an ongoing threat of missile and drone attacks. The embassy said its personnel are sheltering in place.
