Kuwait condemns Israeli strike on Qatar as grave threat

Kuwait strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s attack on Qatar, calling it a grave threat to the region’s security and stability.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the strike represented a “blatant violation of all international laws”, adding that it directly undermined international safety and peace.

The ministry urged the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities in safeguarding global peace and take urgent steps to halt what it described as the “systemized aggression” of the Israeli occupation against the region.

Kuwait reaffirmed its full solidarity with Qatar, expressing support for any measures taken to protect the country’s stability, sovereignty and the safety of its citizens and residents.
