Kuwait on Thursday strongly condemned the continued Iranian attacks on its territory, calling them a blatant violation of its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the attacks also amount to a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026).

The ministry said Kuwait holds Iran fully responsible for the attacks and their consequences, warning that Tehran’s continued aggression against Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council states is further escalating tensions and undermining regional security and stability.

It urged Iran to immediately stop the attacks, stressing that Kuwait will continue to take all necessary measures to protect its territory, citizens, residents and national interests.

The ministry also affirmed that Kuwait reserves all its legitimate rights under international law.
