Kuwait Amir's Rep. lashes out at world inaction on Gaza genocide
text_fieldsHis Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, strongly criticized the international community for its silence regarding the ongoing violence against the Palestinian people.
Speaking at the third summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) in Doha, under the theme "Sports Diplomacy," Sheikh Sabah Khaled condemned the global inaction and attributed it to the double standards in the enforcement of international law and humanitarian principles.
Highlighting the Palestinian issue as a major challenge facing the Asian continent, he expressed regret that the State of Palestine, a member of the ACD, has been enduring continuous aggression by Israeli occupation forces for almost a year. The war has claimed the lives of over 41,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
Sheikh Sabah Khaled reaffirmed Kuwait's unequivocal condemnation of this ongoing aggression and urged the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), to take immediate action to halt the violence. He emphasized the importance of supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle for self-determination and reiterated Kuwait's commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital.
