European-Gulf summit: Kuwait calls for deeper European cooperation in Energy, Investment and Digital Transformation

Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, took part Saturday in the opening session of the first European-Gulf Geopolitical and Investment Summit held in Greece.
During the summit, His Highness the Prime Minister affirmed the depth of the historic ties linking the GCC states with their European partners, expressing hope that the gathering would yield positive outcomes that enhance Gulf-European cooperation and support the aspirations of peoples toward prosperity and development.
His Highness said Kuwait seeks to strengthen cooperation with friendly European countries in energy, investment, infrastructure and digital transformation.
He added that the Kuwaiti government is working on updating economic legislation to ensure a transparent and attractive investment environment, particularly as it moves forward with major strategic projects under the country's ambitious development plan.
His Highness also stressed Kuwait's commitment to supporting the stability of global energy markets, noting that the current stage requires greater international coordination on maritime navigation to reduce tensions and ensure the smooth flow of global trade through vital waterways.
